Second Harvest is leading our community to nourish our neighbors in the fight against hunger—and we need your help! High inflation and rising costs of food don’t just impact those who struggle with hunger, they impact our ability to source and distribute the healthy food that more than 85,000 people depend on every month.
With the help of more than 150 community partners, hundreds of dedicated volunteers, and generous supporters like you, Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County is working hard to ensure our neighbors have nutritious food every day—especially at this time of year.
Together, we deliver more than 11 million pounds of food each year, through food pantries, schools, soup kitchens, group homes, youth centers, and Second Harvest program sites. More than 60% of the food we distribute is fresh produce, making us the healthiest food bank in the nation.
Hunger is not a short-term problem. You can help Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County meet the ongoing needs of our neighbors by giving monthly as a Sustaining Partner. Join our community of committed donors and help end hunger in Santa Cruz County.
Together, we can create a community where all people have access to the food they need today, and the fundamental resources to build a better tomorrow.
