Now more than ever, your food bank is focused on sustainability. We are working on ways to support our community that will ensure a healthier future. One of our exciting new endeavors that we're launching at Second Harvest Santa Cruz County: the Land + Sea initiative.

Rooted in our commitment to nurturing sustainable communities and supporting local producers, Land + Sea represents a transformative approach to sourcing fresh, healthy local foods for our neighbors in need distributed responsibly.

Through Land + Sea, we are partnering with underrepresented farmers in our community to bring our neighbors the finest, farm-fresh produce. By championing these local growers, we're not only ensuring access to nutritious foods but also empowering our agricultural community.

Additionally, our commitment to sustainability extends to our oceans. We are proud to offer sustainably caught fish directly sourced from local fishermen. By supporting responsible fishing practices, we're safeguarding marine ecosystems for generations to come.

But Land + Sea isn't just about providing healthy, ethically sourced food—it's about catalyzing meaningful change. By prioritizing local producers and sustainable practices, we're working towards cultivating a healthier, more resilient community for everyone. Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors while supporting local businesses.
