A Message From Levi, Nova and Faith Emmert

The weekend before Thanksgiving is when the Emmert kids set up a coffee/ hot chocolate/ hot apple cider stand outside the Corralitos Market with the goal of collecting funds and food for Second Harvest Food Bank. This has been an important holiday tradition we've participated in for the last three years. But as you know, 2020 has had other plans. So we will rely solely on the kindness of our community via virtual means for 2020. Last year we raised over $4,000 in donations. Maybe this year we can make it past $5,000! Any donation helps. Even a small donation will go so far since every dollar equals four meals. Let's do this together, loved ones!

Together We are the Food Bank. Donors like you, volunteers, community partners, the AG community, businesses, the faith community, students, and families working alongside each other providing access to needed food for people in Santa Cruz County.

We are the Food Bank – Reaching 65,000 people monthly ensuring they have access to healthy nutritious food. Our unity, working with 80 agencies, engages the community, teaches nutrition classes, distributes food and helps people access the CalFresh food assistance. Through all seasons, through the pandemic, fires, earthquakes, storms and floods, We are the Food Bank of our community.
