A Message From Cheryl Hinchman

Keller Williams Santa Cruz agents volunteer every year in May to support worthy causes in our county for an event that we call Red Day. It is amazing to work side-by-side with coworkers to help entities in need and over the past few years we have partnered with organizations such as: Save Our Shores Beach Clean-up Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Cruz County - Scotts Valley Community Bridges Highlands Park Child Development Center in Ben Lomond Grey Bears Thrift Store of Santa Cruz Second Harvest Food Bank Jesus Mary Joseph Home (women's shelter) Unfortunately, this is the second year that we are unable to meet in person and work as a group, so this year we have chosen to help raise funds for Second Harvest Food Bank. Second Harvest Food Bank supplies food to such nonprofit organizations as food pantries, senior centers, shelters, after-school programs, soup kitchens, low-income day care centers, and others. These programs then turn the food into nutritious, balanced meals for thousands of men, women, and children who otherwise would not get enough to eat. Any amount helps; just $1 can be turned into four healthy meals (68% of the food distributed is fresh fruits and vegetables). If you are looking for an opportunity to help provide food for struggling members of our community, please think about donating. Thank you for your consideration!
