We are inspired by the good work that Second Harvest Food Bank does to help fight hunger in our county and by Twin Lakes Church, who has raised over one million pounds of food for Second Harvest for at least a couple years running. Last year we began what we hope will be a yearly family tradition when we held a food drive outside of Corralitos Market to raise funds and collect food for Second Harvest. Our goal is to reflect love onto our friends and neighbors here at home in Corralitos and beyond by doing a small part to help make healthy food available to anyone who needs it. This year our family will have a donation table set up outside Corralitos Market on Saturday November 17th, 2018 from 9 am to noon. We will be serving coffee and hot chocolate to anyone who stops by to talk to us. Also, Ken Wong, the kind owner of the market, will take care of a Second Harvest grocery collection drum in which shoppers can donate dry goods throughout the holidays until December 29th.
