A Message From County of Santa Cruz Employees

The employee workforce for the County of Santa Cruz has a long-held tradition of participating annually in Second Harvest's Holiday Food and Fund Drive. In 2022, County staff contributed funds that resulted in 222,377 meals for families in need in our community. This year our goal is to raise 230,000 meals, the equivalent of $21 per employee, for families in need during 2023. Every $1 donated provides 3 healthy meals for children, families, seniors, and vets in our community. With your generosity we can meet our goal and raise the funds needed to feed and uplift those who face food insecurity in our county.
